This was a very special patient. Over the years, the patient had been experiencing tooth surface loss and noticed that his teeth were becoming shorter. We used a face bow and articulated the casts. This was then converted into a digital format. A digital mock up was produced and then shown to the patient for their approval. The patient's bite was opened up by 5mm. Thereafter the entire dentition was restored using composite bonding, crowns, a bridge and onlays. This treatment plan was delivered over many appointments and the final stage was stabilisation of the patient's occlusion. The patient was really happy, as was Dr Kotecha with the final result.
